ART DECO

I had the opportunity to visit New York City where I had the chance to observe many examples of Art Deco design. The detail of its bold and glitzy ambiance inspired me to create a master bedroom in Art Deco style. The room has a blend of modern trends with materials done in velvet and silk layers. I used colors such as sapphire blue, emerald, gold, black and white for contrast. I added crystal and globe chandeliers to tie in with the time period. Chevron, zigzag and peacock motifs can be seen in the various textiles and craftmanship in this space.
